Meet our Owner, JoHanna Shortt: Master Lash Artist, Bella Lash and Lash Junkie Educator, MO licensed permanent make-up tattooist, Esthetician, and Certified Laser Specialist.
Her extensive amount of continuing education sets a standard far above the rest. Novalash Certified Classic Lash Extensionist, Bella Lash Classic, and Volume Certified in Russian Volume from Master Lash Artist Frankie Widdows in the UK, Advanced Volume Certification from Borboleta Beauty, Mega Volume certification from LashBox LA, 3D Brows Academy, Salt Lake City, UT, Certified Microblading Artist, advanced microblading training from JennBoydInk, California and powder ombre technique from Daria Chupry in Beverley Hills, CA. She brings home the newest and innovative techniques in the eyelash extension and cosmetic brow world right here in Springfield, MO, for you, her staff, and her students.
40 hours of certified laser training at the Rocky Mountain Laser College in CO, and advanced laser tattoo removal training in-house from Cutera Inc that sets her knowledge and expertise far above others in the Springfield, Missouri area.
For manual microblading and machine ombre or powder brows, she uses LI pigments, the world's best sterile, vegan, micro-pigmentation line. With advanced color theory and color correction training from GirlzInk, Las Vegas, your healed results are soft, natural-looking brows using hair strokes or micro-shading for beautifully tattooed eyebrows. If you have microblading you're unhappy with, a quick Enlighten III laser tattoo removal session will remove enough color and shape within in 1 to 2 treatments so that you can have the right shape and color re-applied!
JoHanna passes her education on to her client's and her team so that your experience and services at The Lash Room and Brow Bar stand far above the rest! She is not taking any new clients but will continue to work on all existing Lash Room guests.
Kyra, as many of you know, use to our front desk coordinator and she will be hard to replace because she was so fabulous at it but know she's moved into Esthetics after completing school. She's now transitioned into doing eyelash and brow services full time!
She , is a super-sweet human, and is motivated to be the best at whatever she sets her mind to. From perfecting her lash lifts and eyebrow laminations to advancing her lash extension skills, she's excelling as a lash and brow specialist.
Kyra is a classic lash extension specialist and currently working on perfecting handmade volume hybrid lashes! She's amazing with chemical services to, from lash lifts to eyebrow laminations, she's got you covered!

She is a motivated esthetician with her primary focus on skin: a CLS (40Hr. Certified Laser Specialist) for Laser Hair Removal and IPL color corrections for quick removal of broken blood vessels, flushing, rosacea, and brown spots, as well as non-ablative 1540nm fractional laser treatments for skin tightening and reduction of pore size, rough surface texture, acne scarring, stretch marks and surgical scar reduction, dermaplaning, and Brazilian body waxing. We use Skin Blends facial products (all lash extension safe), GlyMed Plus chemical peels, and ProCell Microneedling with human growth factor delivery serums and post-treatment aftercare.
She is always researching and practicing the latest trends in skin care while incorporating traditional methods to build a custom, one-on-one experience for each individual guest. Brooke can help you achieve immediate skin gratification while setting you up with a successful long-term plan for your specific needs. Kenzie is a Missouri licensed cosmetologist specializing in lash and brow services. She left the hair industry to focus on the face in 2017 and has been a with The Lash Room and Brow Bar ever since! Her extreme attention to detail and perfectionism has made her a master of her craft.
She has new little one at home now so she is only in the shop one day a week and no longer taking eyelash extension clients but takes other appt's when she has cancelations.
You will see Kenzie in the shop on Thursdays! Her books are open for various face and brow waxing, tinting, and lash lifts when she has last minute openings.

Meet Miss Maddie! She became an esthetician in 2023, specializing in handmade volume lash extensions, but provides all-things lash services from lash lifts and tint to classic and hybrid extensions. She loves adding on an eyebrow wax or brow lamination for the cherry on top!
She has a quiet personality, but very focused, so if you prefer services where you can drift off for a lash nap or time to decompress and relax without a lot of conversation, she's the perfect esthetician for you,
Maddie works every weekend, both Sat and Sun, and throughout the week with Tuesdays and every other Thursday off.
